The Ferrari Dino GTS which we reported on last has been undergoing extensive welding as part of its full and thorough restoration. This is a time consuming and labour intensive process which often involves the team hand fabricating panels from scratch. The team are currently replacing the front lower valence of the car after the original had to be completely removed owing to extensive corrosion. The panel is being very carefully tacked into place in readiness for a full seam weld. It is essential to ensure that the aligment is perfect before moving forward to a permanent fixing.
