The first time Ian saw this car was the day it arrived in pieces on a trailer with the engine and gearbox in a van.
As the project unfolded it revealed a very original matching number car with tremendous potential. With a game plan in place, Ian focused on the intricate details of the engine and gearbox rebuilds whilst the body was stripped back to bare metal, corrosion was cut out as required then finished off with new paint.
Due to the quality and history of this car it was agreed that the interior had to be retrimmed using the original materials which were sourced from Italy.
As you can see from the pictures this car came back to life brilliantly and went on to collect an award at the Ferrari Owners' Club national concours.
It is always very rewarding to save a car and restore it back to its former glory.
