In 1966 the car was bought by John Campbell and it remained in the same family for the next 48 years. During this time, the family entered the car into competitive Hill Climb and Touring events, even posting the fastest time of the day at Wiscombe Park in 1968.
Flared wheel arches were fitted in 1972 to accommodate wider tyres.
In 2014 Marylyn Campbell took the car from storage to take part in the Ecurie Ecosse Tour of Scotland.
In 2016 the current UK owner commissioned Barkaways Ferrari to fully restore the car back to its original factory specification and was very proud to unveil the car at the 2018 Salon Privé Concours where it went on to win Best in Class.
