330GTC Restoration Progress
During August work continued on the 330 GTC bodywork restoration removing both doors to allow cleaning and levelling work to take place. Once work was completed attention was directed to the near side rear wing with levelling carried out on near side rear quarter panel. The near side front wing was levelled and repairs carried out to inner wheel arches.
After fitting the boot lid it was found that modifications and slight repair was required to the back panel to allow correct alignment with the near side quarter panel.
Levelling continued with the near side front bowl and arches before moving to the off side front bowl, front valances and rear off side quarter.
The main body shaping and levelling is now nearly complete with only work required on removable panels such as doors, bonnet and boot to be finalised.
The body will then be sprayed with primer and under coats before being sanded prior to top coat body colour being applied.
