The Barkaways team were in attendance for the Brooklands Autoitalia event held on the 29th April 2017. We had a large stand directly in front of the famous clock house and invited a number of our clients to display their cars, including a 330 GTC, 246 Dino, 308 GTS, 360 Modena and our show stopping Alfa Romeo Guilia. We were also lucky enough to have the brand new 2017 Ferrari GTC 4 Lusso on show, one of only four in the country, which we parked next to an original 1964 250 Lusso restored by Ian some seven years ago and still looking stunning. The star however had to be the immaculate Fiat 500 Abarth owned by Ben, which he had spent two days detailing prior to the event.

The display proved a real crowd favourite and afforded the opportunity to catch up with clients and friends both old and new. Ian was interviewed live on the microphone by the organisers and had the chance to tell the crowd about our upcoming projects.

Later in the day we took the opportunity to run both the Abarth and GTC 4 Lusso on the Mercedes Benz World test track for some spirited laps.

The show this year was arguably the biggest in the events history and a fantastic day out for those that made the trip.
