This year Salon Prive celebrated its 10th year with a move to the historic Blenheim Palace. The magnificent grounds of the palace befitting the most beautiful collection of classic cars, supercars, hypercars and concept cars ever assembled on the Salon Prive lawns. Celebrating was the word of the day for our customers on the Concours Lawn. With many months of intensive project work behind us we were delighted to present our customers (and the judges) with their fully and painstakingly restored cars of which six starred in three different classes. The Barkaways team always feel honoured that our customers entrust their prized possessions into our guardianship, enabling us to work alongside them to restore these cars back to their former glory. We are delighted and incredibly proud to announce that our customers received the following Concours awards. Chubb Insurance Concours dElegance: Class B Winner 'Wind in Your Hair' - 1961 Ferrari 250 Pininfarina Cabriolet Class F Winner 'Pininfarina and The Prancing Horse' - 1964 Ferrari 250 GT/L Lusso Class I Winner 'Gentlemen GT Drivers To The Track and Back' - 1958 Ferrari 250GT Berlinetta Tour De France Saturday was host to the Supercar Show Day, a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the fastest, most powerful supercars in existence. The day featured The Pirelli Prestige & Performance Collection, a new competition welcoming supercars post 1975; the only one of its kind in the automotive event world. Again, it was with pride that we could support five of our customers on the competition lawn in five different classes; Ian even entered into the spirit of competition by entering his 1998 Ferrari 355 F1 GTS into the Feel The Breeze class, a class won by our loyal customer Stephen Ballard with his 2006 Ferrari 575 Superamerica. Many thanks to Ben, Shep, Rob and Spencer for providing on the spot solutions to get participants' cars going at the event. As ever we were proud to support a number of our customers across the three days, it was an amazing event for Barkaways to be part of; a busy few days but enjoyed by the whole team.
