September 1st to the 3rd 2016 saw the return of Salon Prive to Blenheim Palace. Returning for the second year at this most fitting and imposing stately Oxfordshire home. For a lucky few the event commenced with breakfast at the Palace followed by a 150 mile gentle tour of the Cotswolds. Bathed in glorious late afternoon sunshine the tour included a stop at a superb restaurant for lunch to catch up with friends old and new. Thursday 1st September was judging day and we were on hand to support all of our customers in the preparation, positioning or indeed presentation of their car. With the tense judging over we were all able to relax and take some time to catch up with customers and friends over lobster and Champagne; listening to the band play whilst finally taking a moment to drink in the myriad of stunning cars. Salon Prive may just well have the highest concentration of exceptional motor cars this side of Pebble Beach. Friday saw Ladies Day at Salon Prive and as such affords yet another layer of glamour to proceedings. The day is sponsored by Boodles and they chose the 1963 Alfa Romeo Guilia Spider owned by one of our customers as their feature car. The Pimms and Champagne flowed throughout the day and was accompanied by a delicious two course lunch and to top it off, an English afternoon tea. Once again we were pleased and honoured to support a number of customers on the Concours Lawn at Blenheim Palace. Six cars left the workshop and by the end of Judging Day there was cause for celebration.. We are incredibly proud to announce that four of our customers and their cars were awarded by the judges. Congratulations to all our customers, a fantastic day and great team effort. 1966 Iso Grifo - Awarded Most Sensitive Restoration This is the only Baldwin-Motion 350/370 LT1 Iso Grifo ever made out of a total of 412 Iso Grifos produced.
