On Saturday 23rd June 2018, we hosted our annual Open Day, with just over 320 people turning up to enjoy the event with perfect Sunshine and clear blue skies throughout the day. Our car park was absolutely jam packed full of Ferrari's of all eras including 308’s, 328’s, 348’s, 355’s, 360’s, 430’s, 458’s in spider and Speciale form. A number of 488 Spiders were in attendance, TR and 512 TR’s, 456’s, 365 GT 2+2, 275 GTS, 365 and 512 BB’s, 550 and 575 Maranello’s, 599’s four F40’s and a special parking space was reserved for countless Dino’s which turned up to help us celebrate 50 Years of the model.

To this end, we put together a special line up of Dino’s in our Sales and Storage unit – cars either owned by our clients or those which had recently been restored by ourselves.

We also presented a display of motoring Icons which would have been manufactured or on the road at the time of the Dino. With everything from an Aston Martin DB5, AC Cobra, Lamborghini Miura, Fiat 500, Ford Mustang to an Alfa Spider, VW Split Screen Bus and a pair of original Vespa scooters. Our visitors really enjoyed this particular feature and all had stories and memories surrounding the vehicles shown.

Ian and the team delivered a speech to our guests whilst Ben spoke to everyone about the ongoing 308 GTS restoration. We went on to unveil a recently restored 246 Dino to its proud owner and his family during rapturous applause.

Lunch was served immediately after and the Pimms flowed throughout the afternoon for those lucky enough not to be driving home.

Following Lunch we were all treated to an F3 Renault being started and run through its gears by its enthusiastic and generous owner.

During the afternoon, we had the City String Trio add a touch of class to the proceedings, Bill Foreman and his team from West One Workshops were on hand to clean our female guests Diamond rings whilst the Supercar Paint Protection Company were afforded the opportunity to chat with guests and give advice on their latest wrapping products and services. Roj Eastwood was busy all day producing caricatures of our guests.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event, it was a fantastic day and we have received some wonderful feedback from our guests – we are already looking forward to our 2019 Open Day.
