Monday 15th April 2019 saw the annual running of the Ferrari Owners Club test and track day at Silverstone. The Barkaways team joined Chris Butler with our 328 GTB Race Car making its formal 2019 debut. The test day was the ideal opportunity to give the race car a full shakedown prior to the start of The Pirelli Ferrari formula classic Series. The car performed faultlessly throughout its five sessions on track and Chris reported that it ran progressively quicker throughout the day – even with added ballast in the form of Barkaways support team members in the passenger seat!

The test and track day was supported by a large number of Ferrari Owners Club members. Along with the race cars a number of 360’s, 430’s, 458’s, 488’s, two Pista’s and even an early Dino took to the track.The superb weather only added to the day and the early spring sunshine helped show off our race car’s brand new lustrous black and red paintwork. The next time the car hits the track will be on the weekend of the 27th April at Spa in Belgium for the first race of 2019.
