The 2016 Horsham Piazza Italia was held over the Easter Bank holiday weekend from the 25th until 28th March. All things Italian were celebrated over the four days including traditional food, fine wine, music, motorbikes and most importantly Ferrari. The event was opened in true style on Good Friday with an incredible display of Ferraris held in the town centre from midday onwards. However, for those Ferrari owners taking part, the day started far earlier with a rendezvous at the South lodge Hotel, Brighton Rd, Horsham. Breakfast was served and a 9am drivers briefing was held in readiness for the convoy into Horsham town centre. The car park of South Lodge Hotel was literally transformed into a sea of red with 80 plus cars present. 308s, 328 GTB and GTSs, 348s, 355s, 360s, 430s, 458s were all in attendance. A brand new 488 was on display along with F40s, Californias, 599s, F12s, Dinos and most Tipos in between. We got the chance to spend time with customers and friends alike in a relaxed and informal setting before they set off for the display. As ever a great day and superb event.
