A glorious Sunday at Groombridge Place provided the perfect back drop for Hot air balloons and Ferraris. Nearly 40 cars from the Kent Ferrari Owners Club turned up to provide an amazing display for the public to enjoy. 8 of these cars were kindly provided by Barkaways Ferrari customers; we were lucky enough to have an immaculate example of a Challenge Stradale, a beautiful Testarossa lovingly buffed and polished by its enthusiastic owner, the fully restored 1970 London Motor show Dino sat proudly amongst the collection as did a 308GTB. It was a great opportunity for Ferrari owners and enthusiasts to see, wander round and even get the chance to sit in some of these amazing cars; learning more about them with Ian on hand to talk them through their questions. A great summers day out for all the family, MGs and motorbikes helped pull in the crowds as did a wonderful collection of hot air balloons that took to the sky in the late afternoon. Thanks to Jill Todd and her team that co-ordinated this great event and thanks to our customers who are so supportive when its comes to providing their cars for displays.
