Kings and Queens Open Air Picnic Concert
The rain couldn't dampen the spirits of the Barkaways team as they spent the night with Elvis, Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, Michael Jackson and Queen in support of Benenden Hospital.
The team enjoyed a picnic in the grounds of the hospital followed by some great tribute entertainment in true British style, namely drizzle turning into torrential rain. Along with fellow Kent FOC Members Ian took along his 308GTS to show Barkaways support of the event.
Many concert goers were eager to see the collection of cars that also included two 328s, a 355 Spider, a 348TS and a 430 Scuderia. Even Elvis was impressed with the Ferrari turnout.
A fun night had by all the Barkaways team and their families. Thanks go to Jill Todd who helped organise the event. Barkaways are looking forward to Groombridge Wings, Wheels and Wartime on 1st and 2nd July, where Ian Barkaway will be judging and also the spectacular Balloons, Bikes and Ferrari's on Sunday 19th August.
