Following on from our last update - the Lusso is progressing well with both the inner and outer sills now in place. This is not a quick process and actually began with the correct hanging and alignment of both of the doors - with the original hinges being reamed to accept a brand-new set of oversized door pins. This results in a door, which once set in place, will not move over time and provides the perfect central datum point for the sills, front and rear wings of the car.

With the doors in the optimum position the team set about hand fabricating a new set of both inner and outer sills which were then carefully aligned and tacked into position prior to seam welding. A fine application of filler was finally added allowing the team to move onto the next area of the Lusso.
