At Barkaways we have decided, following countless requests from our existing customers, to setup our very own Vehicle Acquisition and Sales department. We wanted to replicate the thinking and ethos from our existing business model and apply it directly to the Acquisition and Sales element. Transparency and communication is fundamental. Therefore the process and protocols which have been implemented are entirely customer centered and built around the highest possible levels of service, so much so, that we have employed one of our long standing customers to set up and run the department. Spencer Herbert is a Ferrari owner himself and has been a staunch supporter of Barkaways from the very beginning. One of the first things we focused on when setting up the Sales department was the accurate valuation of vehicles for sale in a fair and honest fashion. Along with the customer, we take into account mileage, condition, provenance, originality, any factory supplied options and try where possible to establish a value commensurate with vehicles of a similar specification, available at that exact point in time. In addition to this we use automotive financial indices in an effort to afford our customers a view of their particular vehicles value over a far longer period of time. We now produce our own monthly UK Market Average View document which allows us to keep a close eye on advertised Ferrari values across a broad and varied range of models. All of the vehicles presented for sale by Barkaways will have a thorough photographic record and detailed write up accessed via our new look Sales section of the website at www.barkaways.com/sales ('Sales' under the top menu).
