It has been another successful year for Barkaways and their customers at the annual Salon Privé Concours d'Elégance where we unveiled a 250 Lusso we have freshly restored, and it looked stunning against the backdrop of Blenheim Palace on a perfect sunny day.
Our experienced team provided technical support throughout Salon Privé beginning with the concours tour on the Wednesday which followed a picturesque and historical route around the Cotswolds before arriving at Blenheim Palace.
Thursday was the Concours d'Elégance and as well as the Lusso winning it's class; 'Grand Tourers of the 50s & 60s', a Ferrari 275 GTB previously restored by Barkaways was also a class winner as it won the 'Streamlined Closed Sports Cars' class.
There were three Dinos restored or maintained by Barkaways together in the class celebrating 50 years of the Dino. The purple Dino was awarded runner up in its class, whilst we also entered the Dino we unveiled at our Open Day this year, as well as another silver Dino maintained by Barkaways - with all three Dinos scoring highly in the concours judging.
Congratulations to our customers and their cars.
