The Historic Motoring Awards 2018 took place on the 25th October and Barkaways were chosen as finalists for the special Enzo Award.

The event is now in its eighth year and the awards are without question the most prestigious in the industry with nominations from across the globe. This year’s event was held at the most fitting Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel with a list of distinguished international guests, judges and selected industry experts. The evening was hosted with consummate ease by broadcaster and Formula 1 pundit Steve Rider.

A superb three course meal was served followed by a ceremony where a number of awards were handed out along with a lifetime achievement prize going to Mr. Tony Dron. Well done to Gary Dearne and the team at the Ferrari Owners Club who, like us, made the list of finalists for their class but did not quite capture the award on the night.We are already excited about the 2019 event and fully intend on putting forward our entry for next year’s event.
