During October we continued to strip the complete car after receiving the green light on the full restoration from the owner. This course of action would rectify all of the faults and poor areas of the car that we were starting to find during the removal of the engine and front suspension areas. Ultimately this is a great matching number car that will benefit tremendously from having a bare metal re-spray, re-trim, engine rebuild and body restoration. We have completely stripped the body shell and it was sent away to be specialist metal blasted to remove all old paint, filler and corrosion. Work is still on-going with repair work on the cylinder head and the removal of the seized one.
