Sunday 12th July saw the long awaited return of the Ferrari Owners Club National Meet and Concours after 2014 saw a rest from proceedings. The stunning Stapleford Park, a beautiful and historic country estate, now home to a luxury hotel provided a fitting backdrop to showcase an amazing collection of the members cars in all their prancing horse glory. Saturday saw the arrival of cars onto the lawn, positioning and preparing in the sunshine prior to judging on Sunday. Unfortunately, the sun eluded the Concours lawn during the morning judging session but the darker, wetter skies did not put off the crowds and the non-display car park and EFG Special Car Display were brimming. Although the judging was undertaken in slightly damp conditions, the sun shone on the presentations held in the afternoon. There were a total of 13 classes including Area Group Class, V6 Dino, 90's V8 and 2 plus 2 to name a few We were proud to be part of the day; supporting the event, the FOC and three of our customers. Congratulations to Stephen and Sharon Ballard with their 365 Daytona GTB/4 being awarded 1st place in the 70's V12 class. The winning streak continued within the Professional Preparers Class where James Needham's 330GTC took second place and Nigel Allen with his 250 GT SWB Berlinetta taking first place. The SWB also went on to win Best in Show. Thank you to everyone at the FOC for a fantastic event and to all the members and our customers for their ongoing support.
