Something new has arrived at Barkaways this past month for some recommissioning work, this Lamborghini Islero S. This lesser known V12 Lamborghini was produced between 1968-69 in very limited numbers as the 400GT's successor.
This one is a bit more special than that however, being the car driven by Sir Roger Moore in the 1970 British movie 'The Man Who Haunted Himself' - a psychological thriller where he played both Harold Pelham, a conventional city businessman, and his doppelganger who drove this Islero, which served as a powerful representation of Pelham's alter ego throughout the film. It was Moore's favourite role and his last movie before taking over as James Bond.
