Only 852 Ferrari Challenge Stradale were ever built,
CS04 FUN is a RHD car and one of 116, which were officially imported to the UK. At the time the CS had the highest specific power output from a road-going normally aspirated engine, producing 118.5 BHP/Litre and weighing in at a mere 1180 KG.
CS braking was an area of focus with the introduction of carbon ceramic units as standard equipment. With only 8620 miles from new CS04 FUN brakes show very little wear.
Inside you will find full race harnesses attached to the carbon fibre seats, there are no carpets to speak of, only thin rubber mats. The carbon seats were supplied as standard OEM originally with cloth covering. However leather was an option as is the case with our RHD example, resplendent in unmarked Blu Scuro. This car was ordered with an aluminum roll over bar. The first owner had the bar covered in matching Blu Scuro hide with red stitching from the factory to match the dash. CS04 FUN was also ordered with a radio/CD player with matching centre mounted speaker system. The interior, like the rest of this car is superb and testament to the fastidious nature of its 5 former keepers.
From new, the Challenge Stradale could be ordered in 9 different colours. CS04 FUN was ordered in Rosso Corsa. The car was supplied new on 09/07/2004 and has the Challenge Stradale stripe applied but as a decal and not under the lacquer. All associated paperwork and service history is present with the car along with tool kit, handbooks and keys.
